For those of you who can't work out what this is, it is a group of pencils, and it fits the criteria of the assignment well.

There is a slight blur to the picture and the close-up has resulted in some distortion of the image. I suspect that the shadow on the left is the shadow of the lens itself. Nevertheless, the result is an enigmatic and abstract image.
